•   Presenter of Organic Chemistry Sailboat at the Michigan Science Teacher Association (MSTA), East Lansing, Michigan, and the  National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, 1990, and the International CHEM Ed. 1991 convention in Oshkosh Wisconsin

•   Named as an “Outstanding Science Educator” in Macomb county in 1989

•   Named to Who’s Who in American Education by former students 1990 through 1995
